About

Curious mind, information nerd and designer of meaningful digital experiences.

I’m Sara, a UX/UI and Information Designer who loves turning complex information into intuitive, human and exploratory interfaces. I collaborate with teams, institutions and curious humans to design products, maps, systems and data-driven experiences that help people understand the world a little better.

But design is only half of the story.

I also love exploring — places, ideas, new perspectives. I’ve lived, worked, and wandered between Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Central America and Asia, always chasing sunlight, new connections, good food and authenticity. I’m happiest when surrounded by creativity, nature and people who make life feel a bit more vibrant.

I care about thoughtful design, slow conversations and projects that mix beauty with purpose.

Work experience

Information and UX/UI Design @Odd Data and Design Studio

At Odd Studio, I designed digital products and information-driven experiences that make complexity feel approachable. My work spans UX/UI design, data visualization and interactive storytelling — helping organizations translate raw information into clear interfaces, visual systems and meaningful user journeys. I focus on transforming insights into intuitive, human-centered tools that support decision-making, exploration and better understanding.

January 2024 - January 2026

Data Visualization and UX/UI Intern@Sheldon.studio

At Sheldon.studio, I completed an internship focused on data visualization and UX/UI experimentation, where I explored how information design can shape awareness and understanding. Alongside the studio work, I developed my Master’s thesis in Interaction Design: a digital platform that used data-driven storytelling and an interactive map to help tourists in Venice understand the impact of Airbnb on rents and the local housing market. This experience strengthened my ability to combine research, data and interaction design to address complex social issues through engaging digital tools.

Education

MA in Interaction Design @Supsi, Switzerland

During my Master’s in Interaction Design at SUPSI, I deepened my skills in human-centered design, research and digital prototyping. I learned to approach complex design challenges with a blend of methodology and creativity — from user research and UX/UI design to rapid prototyping, data storytelling and interactive systems. The program also strengthened my technical confidence through tools like digital fabrication and programming, and taught me how to think strategically about products, services and the social impact of design.

September 2021 - March 2023

BA in Communication Design @Politecnico di Milano, Italy

During my Bachelor’s in Visual Communication Design at Politecnico di Milano, I developed a strong foundation in visual thinking, typography, image-making and cross-media communication. The program trained me to translate concepts into clear, meaningful visual systems, shaping my approach to design as a tool for storytelling, clarity and connection across both print and digital contexts.
